Rounton Farm is pleased to offer the
2025 Summer Camp season!
This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to nurture their love for learning while having fun outside! We have created camps that ooze excitement as well as support your child in their educational adventure. Browse the list of classes with your child and find one (or more!) that are right for both of you; before/after/lunchtime care options are also available to help you plan a complete camp day for your child.
Rounton Farm Summer Camp registration will begin at
9AM on January 4th, 2025!
Camp spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Camper Registration must be completed AND Camp fees must be paid in full at time of registration.
PLEASE NOTE: If a family decides to cancel their child’s enrollment more than 60 days before the first day of camp, all paid camp fees will be refunded. If a family decides to cancel their child’s enrollment 59-30 days before the first day of camp, half of the paid camp fees will be refunded. If a family decides to cancel their child’s enrollment 29 or fewer days before the first day of camp, there will be no refund.

Camps for 3 and 4 year olds
We take good care of your 3 and/or 4 year old as they participate in, for some, their first camp experience! We will be exploring the farm, playing games, enjoying a snack and getting creative. All this while working to master fine and gross motor skills as well as nurturing friendships with each other, our furry/feathery friends and the earth!
Nature Explorers
Join us for a week of hands on learning as we explore nature…plants, animals, water and more. Campers will learn about nature through crafts, books, games and going on hikes toexperience the beauty of nature all around them. In addition, campers will fine tune their gross motor skills and strengthen friendships with each other!

Arts & Crafts Galore and MORE!
Our campers will explore the fun and excitement of arts and crafts! They will create projects, do experiments, go on walks, and learn to find beauty wherever they go. And of course they will listen to stories, and enjoy sensory stations that reinforce what they are learning and play to their hearts content.

Morning
In a Galaxy Far, Far Away
Can a Star Wars fan ever get enough Star Wars in their life? Probably not, and that’s why this camp is a favorite every single year! Join Rob & Crew and bring your light saber, costumes and your imagination and we will create a new version of exciting galactic adventures! Campers will transform into Chewbacca, Rey, Boba Fett, Yoda, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren and other favorite characters, recreate famous scenes, dream up new ones and film them all. By week's end, campers will go home with their very own movie filled with creativity — and lots of fun memories.

Crafty Shenanigans
This camp is always a crowd pleaser as campers put their artistic skills to the test. They will learn several new crafts each day using a variety of skills and materials. In the end campers will go home with fairy gardens, friendship bracelets, necklace paper chains, nature collages and much more!

Sports
Calling all sports fanatics: this is the camp for you! Our athletic Counselors will be helping you become a future all-star while building a variety of skills, learning the importance of conditioning and practicing the art of sportsmanship. Counselors will teach campers to their level in the following areas…lacrosse, pickle ball, soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball and others. Bring your gear or use ours but be ready for some fast paced fun!

Afternoon
Lego Masters
Returning this year by popular demand is Lego Masters! If you enjoy all things Lego, this camp is for you! Campers will be making their favorite Lego creations and creating new ones. There will be construction challenges, team building activities as well as letting your imagination lead you when it comes to dreaming up your own creation.

Water World
Are you ready to get soaked and cool off with water games and fun?! Our Counselors are ready to drench you with lots of fun for a week of water balloon races, wet science experiments, slip and slide fun, and other really cool activities!

Camp Chefs
Have you ever wondered how to make a real Gingerbread House from scratch? We will show you all the steps and let you in on a few secrets as well! Have you ever wanted to bake bread? We will teach you how to make the bread dough and then bake it over a campfire. Do you like to make up new creations for snack time? We will show you how to use things already in your kitchen and make healthy snacks! By weeks end you will be making several ready to eat goodies as well as others that involve cooking and baking.

Outdoor Adventures
Get ready for taking fun hikes, rolling through amazing obstacle courses, practicing your aim using a giant sling shot, finding newts in the back pond and working on your communication skills with different group problem-solving activities. We will also learn how to build a fire, filter natural spring water, cook over an open fire and tie your shoes so you won’t get blisters on a long hike!

In the Spotlight
Debuting this summer is our first ever Theater Camp! Lead by renown actress Mary Beth Miller, this camp will take our campers on a fantastic week long journey of script writing, developing acting skills, costume creation and envisioning set design. Culminating with a live performance a week’s end this camp is sure to please.

Painter’s Paradise
In this artsy camp class we will paint to our heart’s content. We will paint on paper, wood, shirts, canvas and even on cement. Campers will experience many varieties of paint and brushes to learn how the famous painters have used them to create masterpieces throughout time.

Afternoon
STEM Lab
Calling all builders, engineers, and scientist! STEM Lab is another camp favorite that is action packed. Get ready to explore new concepts and test everything you know! Campers will be all hands on as they learn about different science concepts that challenge their thinking, amaze their own minds with their new knowledge. Campers will be building & experimenting in order to test a hypothesis and complete a new challenge each day.

Fiber Fanatics
Back by very popular demand! Using our imaginative minds and some amazing fibers, every camper will create a new hand crafted masterpiece each day to take home and enjoy. We will knit, stitch, sew, braid and weave our way through lots of projects like scarves, pot holders, plush toys, pillows, friendship bracelets, placemats and so much more!

A longtime Rounton Farm summer camp favorite! Get ready to cool off from the Virginia summer heat with various water activities like Slip and Slide, obstacle courses, baby pool kick ball, water balloons, giant slingshot games and much more!
